摘要
The JAE played a key role in Spain's cultural policy towards America, not so much through the increment of their -alwasy limited- academic activities with regard to the American republics, but through the design of cultural policies in line with Spain's main objectives. Behind these policies lies a progresist conception of the Spanish nationalism which at the time confronted the intra-State Spanish nationalisms from pluralistic aims.
