摘要
Many sport programs focus on teaching youth life skills that can be transferred to contexts outside the sport setting. One such program is "She Hits Hard," an afterschool boxing program for middle school girls with the aim of building positive body image and fostering body empowerment. The program utilized the Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility (TPSR) model, which allowed for the integration of non-contact boxing techniques with life skill development. This article details the program model and program description as well as specific strategies that were incorporated into the program to foster body empowerment in female adolescents.
