摘要
Being one of the new clean energy, hydrogen is considered as the ideal fuel in the middle period of 21th century. Based on the principle of underground coal gasification (UCG), the "long tunnel, large section, two-stage" UCG technology for hydrogen production is put forward by the UCG center of CUMT. The semi-industrial and industrial trial show that high calorie gas with more than 50% hydrogen content can be obtained using the new UCG technology, which will lay a foundation for producing cheap hydrogen in large scale.
