摘要
Design fabrication and characterization of a novel multi-octave 90 degrees digital/analogue compatible MMIC phase shifter is described. The topology was specifically selected to minimize process variations on performance. Low peak phase error(less than or equal to5 degrees), low VSWR(less than or equal to1.5), low insertion loss variations(less than or equal to3.0+/-0.5dB) and good phase shift linearity with the control voltage of MESFET's gates for analogous state an exhibited over 5 to 20GHz frequency range. The chip size is 4.2mmX0.56mmX0.1mm.
