摘要
This paper presents a personnel orientation system in coal mine with ZigBee technology. Based on the features of coal mine industry, we present a concept of personnel orientation system after introducing some characters and application fields of ZigBee technology. Some key problems on coal mine personnel orientation system using ZigBee technology are analyzed, then a solution to solve these problems is presented. Because of its low cost and complexity, this solution is more competitive than the same project based on RFID technology.
