摘要
A space vector pulse width modulation technique fora grid connected multilevel inverter in a hybrid wind-solar-battery power generation system is designed and developed in this paper. Due to the intermittent nature of renewable energy sources, the output is in the form of dc, which can also be stored. For the utilization of this power, inverters are required. Multilevel inverters provide a near sine waveform and thus reduce the harmonic content and along with the added advantages of space vector pulse width modulation such as lower total harmonic distortion and better dc utilization pave the way for future of grid connected hybrid renewable energy systems. The entire system is modelled and simulated in MATLAB/SIMULINK The results are presented and the analysis show that the hybrid RES system shows good performance and maintains the power balance in the system and provides better quality power supply at the grid end.
