摘要：

When comes to the study of the tourism development in Asia, two regions are frequently taken as the major objectives: one is the Northeast Asia including China (mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan), South Korea, North Korea, Japan, Mongolia, and the Fareast of Russia; the other is southeast Asia (including ASEAN member countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnamese, Indonesia, Philippians, Burma and Laos). This is because the two regions play significant parts both in tourism development to Asia and even to the world. This paper aims to make a trial comparison between the current tourism situations of the two regions, and hope to bring referential and practical contributes to tourism development in Northeast Asia.
