EXPERIMENTAL TEACHING METHODS IN HIGHER EDUCATION - PRACTICAL APPLICATION

Several studies have proved that most students have appropriate scientific knowledge, but they cannot apply them in a suitable way. Traditional teaching does not develop or train communication and interpersonal skills at university courses. Alternative for traditional teaching can be experimental teaching (ET). Experimental teaching use creative methods, students learn throw experience. ET helps them to better understand theory and give them possibilities of training communication and interpersonal skills. Develop and training those skills prepare students to further work. Article illustrates application of experimental teaching in course of logistic in Technical University of Rzeszow (Poland). It also explains advantages and disadvantages of simulation games. Article shows which communication and interpersonal skills were trained during the course.
