Literature, literary criticism and politicization of human rights

Nowadays, the defense of human rights is an important and fundamental issue in all fields of knowledge. At the same time, recent history shows the need to problematize its use in some "application" contexts. Through this article we want to reconstruct the multiplicity of positions that analyze the contradictions and conservative use of human rights. Also, to raise the important question of the need to politicize these rights and reflect on the relationship with literature and literary criticism in the light of these positions and problematizations. (Also using Maria Valeria Rezende's novel, Outros Cantos, as a case of discourse application).
