摘要
In this paper it is verified that a quadratic optimal control of arbitrary linear plants is also a quadratic optimal control of the plant and any stable observer. Guidelines for the design of the state-space controller and the observation matrix are derived. It is further shown that the plant has to be stable to allow an arbitrary amount of plant model uncertainty. For comparable H-infinity controllers the tolerable amount of model uncertainty is always limited.
