摘要
A simple equation for the optimal shape of catalyst loading along the oxygen channel of a PEM fuel cell is derived. This shape g(z; lambda) is a one-parametric, independent of cell current function of the distance z along the channel; lambda is the stoichiometry of the oxygen flow. Optimal g homogenizes local cell current not affecting the cell polarization curve. (C) 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
