摘要：

In the paper, we discuss the concept of a custom screens builder for network elements management. The builder dynamically creates custom screens on the basis of screen templates. We propose XML-based templates employing a few simple but flexible constructs that significantly augment the SMI and Mills definitions. We also describe implementation details and share experience gained during development works on such a tool.
