摘要
Vortex shedding around a cylinder in a time-varying sinusoidal velocity profile has been studied. A 2D simulation on OpenFoam v2006 was performed. Transient, incompressible, and laminar flow governing equations are solved with the finite volume method.A sin function was setup in the inlet boundary condition to achievea time-varying velocity profile. Cl, Cd, and Cm data were then compared with a base case of 100 Reynolds number.
