The more the number of the small spacecraft launched the more the need in the small space boosters. It is possible to meet a considerable part of the market needs in the low cost small space boosters making them on the base of some of the satellite on-board propulsion systems made before. TOR and ARS unified small boosters projects are represented. TOR is a small-sized booster on solid propellant. The mass of the booster is about 20 kg. ARS is a booster on liquid propellant. The mass of the booster is about 1000 kg. Implementation of TOR and ARS projects will provide cheap and effective means for meeting the growing demand of the small spacecraft launch service market. This will also widen the possibilities of choosing the orbit for small spacecraft. (C) 2003 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
