摘要
In this work, degradation of 6-aminonaphthalene-2-sulfonic acid (6AN2SA) under microaerophilic conditions by means of a selected mixed bacterial culture (SMBC) was investigated. Experiments were performed with a consortium based on six bacteria belonging to the genera Pseudomonas (2 strains), Flavobacterium (2 strains), Corynebacterium (1 strain) and Bacillus (1 strain), isolated from activated sludge treating wastewater of the chemical industry. Complete degradation of 6AN2SA at the initial concentration of 500 mg L(-1) was achieved within 5 days. The degradation was coupled with an accumulation of sulfate, ammonium and 58 mg L(-1) of the remaining total organic carbon. COD reduction of 80% was achieved. UV-VIS and IR spectrophotometry as well as HPLC-MS and HPLC-FLD analyses confirmed the degradation of 6AN2SA. During the degradation, the SMBC formed pellet-like agglomerations.
