Sintering behavior of wet chemically derived zinc oxide varistor

摘要
Effects of dopants on sintering behavior and nonlinear V-I characteristics were investigated for ZnO varistor prepared by coprecipitation. Changes of grain size and dopants distribution were followed with sintering. Thermomechanical analysis elucidated not only the effective temperature region of each dopant but also the interaction of dopants in sintering of ZnO. Nonlinearlity coefficient, 20similar to30 were obtained for the ternary dopant systems.
