摘要：

The concept of Sombor indices (SO) of a graph was recently introduced by Gut-man and the reduced Sombor index SOred of a graph G is defined by SOred(G) = Sigma(uv is an element of E(G)) root(d(G) (u) - 1)(2) + (d(G) (v)(2) - 1), where d(G)(v) is the degree of the vertex v. In this paper, we study the extremal properties of the reduced Sombor index and characterize the bicyclic graphs with extremal SOred-value.
