摘要
Today's business relies heavily on information technology and modern computer-based systems are enabling firms to boost their performance and ergo competitiveness. E-business systems are optimizing all aspects of organizational performance from marketing to finance and even human resource management and its core activities specifically recruitment. Moreover, current sophisticated business milieu has made recruitment a more complex task which not only needs more advanced techniques but also has to be planned strategically. In the wake of this revolutionary trend, creating a sustainable competitive advantage requires a comprehensive approach to take computer-based recruitment and strategy formulation into careful considerations equally. In spite of this fact, extant business literature lacks a conceptual model viewing e-recruitment from a strategic lens. Thus, this paper attempts to bridge the gap that exists between business strategy and e-recruitment through a literature survey approach. Eventually, theoretical findings of this study contrive an analytical conceptual model to be complemented by further studies in this direction.
