Nonisothermal cure kinetics of some epoxy systems

摘要
The results obtained by differential thermal analysis (DTA) in the cure study of some epoxy systems are presented. The studied epoxy systems consist of a diglycidylether of bisphenol A type resin and the following curing agents: benzyl-N,N-dimethylamine, triethanolamine, bisphenol A type novolac, 2-ethyl-4-methyl-imidazole, BF3 . C2H5-NH2. The nonisothermal kinetic parameters of the curing processes are evaluated from DTA date, by different methods. These kinetic parameters are used, in the suitable cases, to draw the isothermal predictive cure curves.
