摘要
Adoption of TQM principles has resulted in success within some organizations yet failed in others. Often it is the implementation process which is cited as the cause of failure rather than the TQM principles themselves. This study uses 8 TQM implementation factors;identified for software development and evaluates the effects each of these has on various success measures of software quality. Statistical analysis indicates that Employee Empowerment has a significant effect on Customer Satisfaction, whereas, Customer Needs Assessment and Specific Skills Training both have an impact on the Extent of Compliance with ISO 9000-3 and the Capability Maturity Model level.
