摘要：

In the molecule of the title heteroaryl chalcone derivative, C(21)H(14)O(2), the almost planar prop-2-en-1-one unit [r.m.s. deviation = 0.0087 (1) angstrom] forms dihedral angles of 5.81 (7) and 49.85 (6)degrees, respectively, with the furan ring and anthracene ring system. In the crystal structure, the molecules are linked into a two-dimensional network parallel to (100) by C-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds and pi center dot center dot center dot pi interactions involving the furan rings [centroid-centroid distance = 3.7205 (6) angstrom].
