摘要
The white light speckle method was developed to overcome problems encountered in the laser spackle method. Closer similarity with the moire method were soon identified, the difference being in the selection of the sensitivity in one case prior to experimentation and in the other after the experiment. One advantage of the white light speckle method was its ability to study large objects. Coupled with digital image correlation this became the niche application for the white light speckle method. This particular aspect is exemplified in this paper using sunlight Sol illumination of nnfur al speckles on glacier to monitor their movement. (C) 1998 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
