摘要
Currently telecommunications management systems are powerful ones, nevertheless they make use of centralized and proprietary platforms, so limiting the growth of the telecommunications networks. This limitation issues the need for scalable and open systems, and stimulates the sectors in telecommunications area to seek for solutions to this problem in an distributed, heterogeneous and totally scalable environment (s). The recent advances in distributed objects area. has created many positive expectations relating to (for the development of) client/server systems, because it has addressed the use of network resources as if they were local ones. The objective of this work is to experimentaly evaluate the potential of the so called main CORBA services, in conjunction with the Java language, by analysing the main functionalities requirements proposed by the TMN architecture. Where one should model a manager we use computational reflection and meta-classes instead, also where agents should traditionaly be found we implement classes instead.
