摘要：
This study focuses on an adaptation of the precipitation-based drought indicator of deciles, developed by Gibbs and Maher (1967). The adapted concept was additionally used for the calculation of wet spells. Long-term changes of regional drought and wet spell characteristics and patterns were analysed for Central Eastern Germany.
