摘要
This research had as the objective reflects teachers' training guided by Freire's theoretical perspective. It is a qualitative and exploratory research, which follows evidence, seeking for traces in an attentive walk to the individuals in their spaces and cultures. That is to say, popular educators who develop actions in different educational contexts. The development of the study has been through historical nuances of teachers' training, and kept questioning higher education, specifically, teachers' training and it approached the Paulo Freire Popular Education Center. The results reveal an adverse scenario, however we observed that Freire's constructions open loopholes in the context of challenges, bringing evidence of a humanizing training, which does not neglect the content, contrarily, it values it, giving it social meaning. Training teachers guided by Freire's propositions involve considering the space in which obedience gives way to respect, and commitment is driven by motivation, an educational path aimed at social emancipation.
