Effects of Cr addition on thermal stability, soft magnetic properties and corrosion resistance of FeSiB amorphous alloys

摘要
The effects of Cr addition on the thermal stability, soft magnetic properties and corrosion resistance of Fe79.5-xSi9.5B11Crx amorphous alloys were detailed investigated. It was found that Cr addition has multiple effects on improving those properties of FeSiB amorphous alloys. As Cr content increases from 0 to 5 at%, the coercive force decreases from 2.46 to 2.02 A/m, and the corrosion rate of the alloys in 0.1 M NaCl solution also decreases from 1.83 x 10(-1) to 3.91 x 10(-4) mm.year(-1). Besides, the passive region exceeds 1.13 V for the alloy containing 7 at% of Cr.
