Coexistence of ferromagnetism with superconductivity in RuSr2GdCu2O8 from ESR measurements

摘要
We have investigated the magnetic properties of RuSr2GdCu2O8 by means of ESR measurements. The Gd EPR spectra suggest the predominant antiferromagnetic correlation with a small ferromagnetic moment. We found that the Ru FMR spectra consist of two components, suggesting the mixed valency in the Ru sites. In addition, we will report the coexistence of superconductivity with the magnetic order on a microscopic scale.
