摘要：
Advances in microscopical techniques are playing a major role in modern life science research. This paper shows how the combination of traditional fluorescence microscopy, spinning disk confocal systems, and laser scanning confocal workstations provides researchers with a powerful and diverse set of tools for the investigation of a rapidly growing selection of specimens.
