Numerous parameters related to the patients and the conditions of the sample collection can affect the properties of a biological sample. The pre-analytical parameters are especially important to deal with in the setting of multicenter clinical trials. Here, we report the preliminary results of a trial conducted by the cooperative group GOELAMS (Groupe Ouest-Est des Leucemies aigues et Autres Maladies du Sang) to define the preanalytical parameters that affect the proteomic analysis of serum samples in patients with B-cell non Hodgkin lymphoma included in clinical trials.
