Two Cu(II) coordination polymers: treatment activity and cursing values on trachoma by inhibiting the survival of Chlamydia trachomatis

摘要
In the current study, by using the mixed-ligand synthesis approach, two new Cu(II)-containing coordination polymers (CPs), namely, {[Cu-3(mu(4)-cpboda)(2)(mu(1,1)-OH2)(2)(2,2-bipy)(2)]center dot 1.5DMF center dot 2H(2)O}(n) (1) and {[Cu-3(mu(3)-cpboda)(2)(4,4 '-bpy)(3)(H2O)(2)]center dot 4H(2)O}(n) (2, H(3)cpboda = 3,3 '-((5-carboxy-1,3-phenylene)bis(oxy))dibenzoic acid, 2,2-bipy = 2,2-bipyridine, 4,4 '-bpy = 4,4 '-bipyridine) were solvothermally synthesized. For the treatment of the trachoma, the biological activity of the compounds was evaluated and the related mechanism was explored at the same time. Firstly, the Chlamydia trachomatis killing effect of the compounds were evaluated by measuring the minimum bactericidal concentration. In addition to this, the relative expression of the survival genes in the Chlamydia trachomatis was determined with real time RT-PCR.
