摘要
Teledermatology is a subspecialty in the medical field of dermatology and probably one of the most common applications of telemedicine and e-health. In teledermatology, telecommunication technologies are used to exchange medical information (concerning skin conditions and tumours of the skin) over a distance using audio, visual and data communication. Gaussian noise is a very good approximation of noise that occurs in many practical cases. Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) is a term to refer to the fact that noise eventually combines with the desired signal and is a major limiting factor in the transmission of information. This paper shows a RGB type teledermatology based digital images and effects of gaussian and salt & pepper noises to these medical images. It also discusses how you can remove unwanted signals over digital images for delivering high quality medical images in a short time to the hospital for better health care.
