摘要
Though high range and azimuth resolutions can be achieved through back projection imaging for ultra-wideband multi-input multi-output (MIMO) radar, significant grating lobes are also observed that deteriorate the imaging performance. Since the existing coherence factor approaches may also reduce the magnitude of extended targets when suppressing the grating lobes, a novel correction, named as power spectrum coherence factors (PSCF) approach is proposed in this work. The real data experiment of a MIMO through-the-wall imaging radar shows that PSCF correction can preserve higher magnitude for extended targets than traditional approaches while suppressing grating lobes effectively.
