摘要
A numerical simulation of aerosol capture by an array of drops with steam condensation on their surface is presented. Particle impaction has been predicted with an eulerian approach. This work performs che influence of condensation on the aerosol collection efficiency and the evolution of the collection efficiency with the distance between the drops. While varying the distance between the drops from 5 to 25 drop diameters, we can highlight the modification of the impaction collection efficiency related to the disturbance of the velocity and concentration fields in the vicinity of the drops. We observe strong variations of the collection efficiency, but the steam condensation at the surface of the drops limits the decrease.
