摘要
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the care of countless individuals, including pediatric oncology patients. The initial lack of knowledge about the disease course and implications of infection led to delays in treatment to minimize additional harm. In pediatric oncology, unnecessary delays in chemotherapy or hematopoietic stem cell transplantation may increase the risk of disease relapse. This case report describes one high-risk pediatric oncology patient's clinical course through hematopoietic stem cell transplantation immediately following COVID-19 infection complicated by multi system inflammatory syndrome in children. The disease course, monitoring, long-term outcome, and recommendations for future research are reviewed.& nbsp;
