摘要
This paper proposes an input ac voltage sensorless control method for single-phase power factor correction (PFC) converter to achieve a simple and cost-effective PFC converter system. In the conventional control method of PFC converter, the input voltage sensor is necessary for a synchronization control between the input voltage and current. The proposed method without the input voltage sensor offers the control performance as much as the conventional method. To implement the converter control, the proposed method consists of the sinusoidal reference generator and frequency estimator using the control variables of the input current and dc-link voltage. It also provides the current error rejection capability under the frequency deviation. Both the simulations and experiments on a 1.6 kW single-phase boost PFC converter are implemented to validate the proposed method.
