摘要
This article is a bid to resolve the question of how to interpret the particularities of security in the Global South from Latin America, when the trend is for those countries to be peaceful but highly violent areas? One of the tentative answers to the question has to do with the fact that if we work unlocked approaches to the classic militaristic views of security, it is much easier to get closer to the territorial reality. In such a manner, the intersection between the dimensions of "little security nothings", criminal governance and the ontological insecurity, produces a more real interpretive reading that allows for a greater proximity between decision makers, the academy and citizens. In this way, the original contribution of the article is in the integral approach from the three dimensions as complementary lenses to understand the dynamics and logics of the realities of security.
