摘要
A new method of operating cryogenic particle detectors is presented. To improve the linearity, dynamic range and tolerable count rate of the detector, a SQUID-controlled negative thermal feedback is used to keep the temperature of the superconducting thermometer film nearly constant. Description of the detector design and a block diagram of the feedback circuit are given and results of a first detector test are reported.
