摘要
A shape optimization technique is proposed for the optimal design of microwave components and circuits. The technique couples a gradient descent method with a Bezier curve parametrization. It is applied to the boundary of cylindrical posts placed in metallic cavities of a two-pole microwave filter. The first objective is to demonstrate the efficiency of the method for attaining an ideal transfer function using a small set of design variables.
