摘要：
We presented the development of a case-based library, CL-GIS, to facilitate the teaching and learning process of Geographical Information Systems. The cases selected for CL-GIS were extracted from our practical projects from various fields in the past decade. The article explained the use of information system to manage available GIS project cases and described the design and application of CL-GIS. The application of CL-GIS showed that it increased the students' interest of learning, promoted a quick grasping of GIS essential knowledge, enhanced students' domain specific knowledge, and increased the students' capability of GIS software development and coding skills.
