摘要
This paper proposes a rule-based model predictive control (MPC) approach to coordinate the operation of distributed generation units (DGU), energy storage systems (ESS), and on-load tap changer (OLTC). The control approach manages the settings of the regulating devices optimally in order to regulate node voltages and minimizes power loss effectively with the aid of minimal control resources. Three mks are devised for MPC on the basis of magnitudes of voltages. The objectives for MPC are changed according to these pre-defined rules. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is tested in a 33-bus distribution network. It has been found that the proposal control scheme could mitigate voltage violations as well as energy loss in both normal and abnormal conditions. Moreover, the performance of the proposed control scheme with ESS is better than without ESS in terms of less usage of control resource, and reduced energy losses. Simulations are also carried out to test the robustness of the control scheme. The performance of the proposed control scheme is further investigated with distributed ESS.
