摘要
In this paper, we design a controllable broadband metamaterial absorber composed of mesh resonators with embedded lumped resistors and switching diodes. The simulation results show that the absorber can reach more than 90% absorptivity in the range of 2.22-6.02 GHz with a relative absorption bandwidth of 92.2%. The absorption can be switched by the diodes embedded in the mesh resonators. In addition, the proposed absorber is insensitive to the electromagnetic waves with different polarization directions due to quadruple symmetry structure.
