AGRICULTURAL SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT: A CASE STUDY IN VIETNAM

This study assesses the current situation of safe vegetable (SV) production and supply in Hanoi, in which in-depth analysis of the main supply chains of safe vegetables including traditional supply chains, wholesalers (Mega Market-MM) supply chains and the supply chain of retailers. The study has clarified the parties involved, the operating mechanism of each supply chain, thereby making assessments on limitations and causes affecting quality control, affecting chain development. Front the analysis of the current situation, assessment of scalability and control of the chain, the study has made recommendations for management units to apply chain management solutions to improve the ability to manage SV for residents of the capital, and at the same time encourage SV production.
