In today's scenario, the relationship between students and Information Communication and Technology (ICT) cannot be denied. In whatever subjects taken, the usage of ICT is relevance and suitable to all students. This is because the usage of ICT can make the process of teaching and learning become more interesting and interactive. This paper will identify the opinion of non-IT background students on the usage of ICT for teaching and learning purposes. A survey has been conducted to 400 first year students. The findings showed that the students are more interested in learning with the usage of ICT and they could understand the subject better. Nevertheless, they still prefer notes and handouts in hardcopy due to the lack of facilities and easy reference.
