Resolution of multicomponent spectra overlapping systems via pattern transformation and its application to the simultaneous determination of edible color mixtures

摘要
A method which can be used to resolve severely overlapping spectra systems via pattern transformation technique was described. Simulations showed that no matter how severely the spectra overlapped, satisfactory results can always be obtained if slight differences among then exist. The proposed method was applied to the simultaneous determination of 6 mixtures consisting of 2 to 6 edible colors, good results were obtained.
