摘要
The cultivation of students' autonomous English learning ability is mainly carried out by means of the formative assessment. This paper is to analyze the weak points of traditional summative assessment and the strong points of formative assessment which has obvious advantages compared with the former. Hence, the main strategy of cultivating autonomous learning ability can be obtained on the basis of the formative assessment.
