摘要
Lithium ion batteries show a promising potential in the area of electrified transportation due to their high power density and long cycle life among electrochemical cells. This article presents an online monitoring approach for the capacity fade and impedance of lithium ion batteries using impulse response technique. By analyzing the waveforms of response, one can predict the capacity fade and the impedance which characterize the battery health. In the end, the proposed method is validated by experimental results which provides an online estimation tool to describe the aging effects of batteries.
