摘要：
Urinary tract infection (UTI) is a common pediatric infectious disease. It accounts for almost 1% of clinical presentations and 5% to 14% of emergency department visits. UTIs occur throughout all age groups. The age of onset, gender, history, and physical examination results determine treatment and long-term management. The goal of therapy is to prevent recurrent UTI and the potential for renal scarring, chronic renal disease, and any subsequent complications.
