摘要
We report on the hypersensitivity of the P-3(0) --> F-3(2) emission transition (630-650 nm) of Pr3+ in a series of fluoride, germanium sulfide and in some tellurium oxide and silica-based oxide and oxy-fluoride glasses. The relative intensity of this transition was dependent on the type of the glass host. We suggest the mechanisms for the hypersensitivity in relationship to the glass host polarizability and structure. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
