SPANISH CHILDREN'S AUDIOVISUAL PRODUCTION: 'POCOYO' AND 'JELLY JAMM' AS REFERENTS OF EDUCATIONAL ANIMATION SERIES FOR THE 2ND CYCLE OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

摘要
In recent years, Spanish production children's animation series have become prominent in programming grids around the world. Audience figures and success, not only in Spain but worldwide, position Pocoyo (La 2, 2005-2011) and Jelly Jamm (Cartoonito, 2011-2013) as leading content. The former is distributed in more than 150 countries and the latter has been released in a total of 130 countries and sold in 150. Non-formal educational animations that could well be extrapolated to formal sociocultural fields, such as that of schools. With this research, a content analysis of the chapters corresponding to the first season of both series is carried out, to associate them with the curriculum of the 2nd cycle of Educacion Infantil (Early Childhood Education), so that the work of the areas and contents is allowed through the use of audiovisual product within school contexts. Not only does the nature of the television product and the educational genre to which they belong make them suitable for classroom implementation, but we also face products that could be proposed as educational resources for the promotion of media literacy since the early school years.
