摘要
This article provides the implementing methods of IP virtual prototype machine. According to the Rational Uniform Process, we particularly describe the needs analysis design implementation and test of this system in UMI, and build many network elements virtual prototypes. IP virtual prototype machine uses the universal data format and encapsulating method. In this article we implement the datagram's fragment and reassembly and build their corresponding prototypes to resolve the problems in heterogeneous network. At last we validate the correctness of the IP virtual prototype by comparing the test result with VINT Then we validate some conclusions of datagram's fragment and reassembly using our IP virtual prototype as the testbed.
